(Furst Piccolo X Sandro Hit)

2012 Bay 17.1h Westphalian Gelding

Fantast is an international quality FEI prospect with unlimited potential.  He finds the fundamentals of dressage easy and has a superb hind-leg that comes through in all three gaits.  He is a tall, handsome and eye catching Westphalian gelding standing at 17.1h.  Fantast is the perfect professionals horse but easy enough for an amateur.  He has the best mind of any horse we have ever owned, yet is sensitive and forward to ride.  What really

makes Fantast special is his outstanding temperament and rideability.  Fantast is always eager to work.  He shows great potential for piaffe/passage and is already exceling in hand.  With a superb hind-leg and great suspension, Fantast has an ease to collect and maintains a supple feeling throughout the ride.   His natural ability for dressage make even the most difficult dressage movements seem easy and already has clean changes to both directions. He began his show career in Del Mar in February winning his class (first level) both days, and then again at his second show in San Juan Capistrano in March with consistent scores in the 70%’s.

His sire, Furst Piccolo, was a premium stallion at the 1999 Westphalian Stallion Licensing and won the 100-day Stallion Performance Test in in Warendorf in 2000. His grandsire, Fidermark was the stallion performance test winner and the 4-year-old Bundeschampionate winner. His damline includes a long list of premium/elite mares and big names like Sandro Hit.

All in all, he is an extremely well-mannered and ultra talented rising 5 year old with a great pedigree and hind-leg suspension to go with it.  Fantast was recently imported and is located at Steffen Peters facility, Arroyo de Mar in San Diego, CA.  He is lucky enough to have been sold to a phenomenal amateur buyer and will be making Seattle his new home in just a few weeks.  We will miss him!
